This Data Deletion Policy describes how you can request the deletion of your account and personal data from the Tack mobile application ("App"), what data is deleted, what data may be retained, and the timeline for processing your request.
HGIJersey LLC ("Tack," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to giving you control over your personal data. If you no longer wish to use Tack, you can request complete deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
You may request deletion using either of the following methods:

Upon receiving your email, we will send a verification email to the address associated with your Tack account to confirm your identity before processing the request.
When your deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently deleted from our systems and, where applicable, from the systems of our service providers:

As part of the deletion process, Tack will programmatically call the Plaid /item/remove endpoint for every financial institution item linked to your account. This:

All retained data is either fully anonymized (cannot be linked to your identity) or maintained only to the minimum extent required by law.

In most cases, deletion is completed well within the 30-day window. If exceptional circumstances require additional time, we will notify you by email with an explanation and an updated timeline.
Once your account and data have been fully deleted, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address that was associated with your Tack account. This email will confirm:
Please note that this confirmation email is the final communication we will send to that address. The email address itself is deleted from our systems after the confirmation is sent.
Deleting your Tack account removes data from Tack's systems and revokes your Plaid tokens. However:
